Ways to Serve

"What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well,” but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it? So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead."   James 4:14-17

Liturgical Ministries

St. Anthony Parish offers various ways to get involved in the Liturgy. Aiding in the spiritual development of others and serving God through these ministries can be very rewarding.  Parishioners are encouraged to sign up for these ministries during our stewardship drive.

Parish Organizations

There are various ways to use your time and talents. If being a part of the worship  service doesn't interest you, maybe you are being called to serve

on one of our committees.

From fellowship to fundraising, you are sure to find the perfect fit for your interests.

St. Vincent de Paul

Our local conference of Vincentians serves a great need in the Sullivan area. On a regular basis they are providing rent money to those a bit behind, gasoline to help get someone to a job interview and funds to pay the electric bill so the lights will stay on.

Knights of Columbus

Fr. Paul Sutter Council # 4858 serves three local parishes: St. Anthony of Sullivan, Holy Martyrs of Japan, and St. Francis of Bourbon. The good works the council does are based on the four core principles of the organization including Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism
