Sacraments
Baptism
Parishioners wishing to have their child baptized should call the rectory office to arrange baptismal classes with Father Paul Telken. These classes will discuss the roll parents and Godparents play in the faith formation of the child as well as the process of the Baptism. Call the rectory office at 573-468-6101 to schedule your class.
Reconciliation
Second grade students in both our grade school and Parish School of Religion (PSR) are eligible to receive their First Reconciliation in December, after completing thorough instruction. For those that have received before, Father Paul Telken is available to hear confessions on Saturday evenings from 4:00pm - 4:45pm.
Eucharist
The Eucharist is the most important celebration in the Church. After receiving their First Reconciliation, the second grade students in our grade school and PSR learn about and receive their First Holy Communion. The Eucharist is available, to those eligible at daily Mass.
Confirmation
Confirmation, the sacrament of the Holy Spirit, is offered every other year to seventh/eighth grade students attending our grade school and PSR program.
Marriage
Sacrament preparation for marriage should begin at least six months prior to the wedding. Couples are required to attend "Preparing for Christian Marriage" classes or an alternative approved program. All weddings must begin no later than 1pm on Saturdays to allow ample time for clean up before 5pm Mass.
Holy Orders
Those considering becoming a priest or deacon can contact Father Paul Telken for more information or visit the Archdiocese of St. Louis' Office of Vocations website.
Anointing of the Sick
Through the Holy Spirit, this rite conveys God's grace to the sick. This sacrament is administered to the ill, especially those close to death. If you or a loved one is in need, please contact Father Paul Telken at 573-468-6101.
