Liturgical Ministries
St. Anthony Parish offers various ways to get involved in the Liturgy. Aiding in the spiritual development of others and serving God through these ministries can be very rewarding. Parishioners are encouraged to sign up for these ministries during our stewardship drive or call the rectory for more information at 573-468-6101.
Lectors - Proclaim the Word of God by reading at Mass
Altar Servers - Assist Father Paul Telken and Deacon Kevin during Mass
Ushers - Coordinate offertory and distribute bulletins following Mass
Gift Bearers - Bring the offertory gifts to the altar
Extraordinary Ministers - Distribute Holy Communion
Adult Choir - Practices every Wednesday at 7pm and leads songs at all 10am Masses except the 1st Sunday of the month. To join, meet in Church on Wednesday evenings.
Children's Choir - Leads songs at the 10 am Mass on the 1st Sunday of the month
Heavenly Dusters - Clean the Church building every other Wednesday after Mass
Liturgy Committee - Plans and decorates the Church for each liturgical season and researches and prepares many other aspects of the Liturgy.
Children's Liturgy - Explains the Gospel in children's terms through crafts and activities during 10am Mass. If interested in teaching the pre-planned class, contact Cassie Hoevelmann at 573-927-2005.
Religious Articles Room Attendants - Keep the Religious Articles Room stocked and maintained. Attendants unlock the door before and after weekend Masses.
