Updated requirements for attending public Mass

According to the Archdiocese of St. Louis and The USCCB, updates are below:

  • There will be no sign of peace.

  • Holy water MAY be placed in the Holy Water fonts.

  • Offertory MAY now  be taken up by the ushers.

  • Choirs MAY return to gathering together to sing at Mass

  • Missalettes and hymnals MAY be placed back in  in the pews.

Of course, the above updates are always at the Pastor's discretion.

On July 1, 2021, Archbishop Mitchell Rozanski lifted the dispensation of the obligation to attend Sunday Mass for all of the faithful in the Archdiocese of St. Louis—meaning that we are all called to return to Holy Mass in-person each Sunday.
